This last weekend we babysat Cutter and Eli. What fun! I am a pro with Eli now. He is a little doll and "easy E" for sure! Cutter sure kept us entertained. He walked into the kitchen with Grandpa's glasses on and said, "Hi, Grandma"! I could tell by the cheesy grin that he knew how funny he looked. Then he reprised the grin for the camera.

" There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of Heavenly Fire which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity."
~Washington Irving
I ran across that quote recently and thought it was so good. It really speaks to the strength of womanhood! How blessed I am to have the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to know the importance of gender! I am proud to be a woman....especially a Latter-day Saint woman!

One Bride and One Brother!
Last night Brooklyn, Bellamie and Cache came for a little visit. We watched 7 Brides for 7 Brothers and we couldn't resist the toe-tapping music! Brooklyn and Mark danced the "barn dance" and then Cache needed a turn. He is quite the dancer! (must have inherited his dad's twinkle toes) Grandpa slept through the whole evening.... even when Bellamie poked him a little to make sure he was really sleeping. (Brooklyn is wearing the Christmas Tree Skirt...good improv, Mark!)

Two Cowboys and a Rodeo Princess in the making!
On Saturday, after Eli's birthday cake, we went outside (at Jeff and Joanna's house) to watch the kids ride Frank the horse. Brooklyn is a natural, but Cache and Cutter weren't far behind.

Sunday at Grandma and Grandpa's house!
Here it is Sunday evening and Brooklyn was watching a movie and munching on cheetos....before long she had a few friends join her. She very happily shared her treat, making this a "love" seat in every sense of the word! Oh, and by the way it is a scientifically proven fact that children can detect cheetos from great distances!

Mark's Big Performance
Mark was invited to perform with this group of kids as a part of their class project. All the local Beus' turned out to watch! It was a fun night.
